New Products: Bezels and Resins31 October, 2009
Enameling fluxe resin : This comes in a bottle of 57gm (2oz) and consists of fine particles. For use with wood, metal and polymer clay it is one of the simplest ways to create a professional look with bezels and altered art projects. To use you need to cover the project with the granules or in the case of bezels fill enough to the top, and then heat in an oven to 121 degrees for around about 10-15 minutes. The finish is a clear professional resin look that doesnt have any bubbles. In this example i have used some of our keepsake pendants and vintage empherema sheets with the fluxe enameling glaze on the top.( pictured underneath ) Gel De Soleil Sunlight Curing resin : This new product is a resin that cures in the sun underneath a uv lamp in 15 minutes. It hardens over the next 2 hours. Unlike We also have new bezel settings available in gold and silver plated. Use them

Paper Flowers UpdatesWe have a new range of paper blossoms available to our store as unfortunately our previous calligraphy flower range is no longer available. These new packs are available in 36pc sets in either an antique or brights tones. Made of a textured paper material they can be used for all jewelery projects. They are great for stacking and combining in projects
We also have tulle flowers for accents and paper trellis roses available. They look really good as a feature in the centre of a choker or long necklace or really great for that fab focal ring. Ive used our rings with one loop and the jet tule flowers have a connector adhered to the back We also stock gel blossoms, which are made of a clear gel plastic that is very lightweight and looks really transparent and chic. Ive combined a stack of the items with our swarovski crystals and fire polish crystals to make a funky cuff

Christmas Beading Kits5 October, 2009
I can’t believe that it is nearly Christmas time already, and before we know it the big day will be here. It only feels like yesterday that we were celebrating last Christmas! This year I have decided to do 40 limited edition Christmas Kits which are exclusive to WishWare Beads. Our 40 Christmas Kits will be available for sale through the website and phone order up until our final posting before Christmas. We will only stock limited amounts of each kit, so once we sell out these kits will not be restocked. Unfortunately at this point in time we will not be selling the Christmas beads out of the kits individually.
New Products: Water Decals24 September, 2009Our new water decals are a great addition to any ones bead collection. They are simple to use, in a great range of patterns and can be used on glass, wood, ceramic, acrylic and more.To use them you need to submerge them in water for around about 30 seconds or until the decal parts from the paper backing. Making sure that the surface you want the decal to be on is clean and then take it out of the water and press onto the surface. You then need to smooth over from the centre towards the corners, as required. TIP: I’ve found it best to position the decal onto the surface and then press it into a beading mat to get all the bubbles out.Once the decal is dry apply a top coating of glaze : triple thick glaze or diamond glaze will do the trick.
I have made the examples using this technique and our porcelain plain beads, which are really great for altered art projects. You can also use them with smooch accent inks and paper to embellish them and give them some depth.
New Products : Porcelain Pendants16 September, 2009Our new porcelain beads feature a stunning double sided designs in bright glaze. Available in blue round flowers or green dotted dragonflies they make stunning feature pieces for all designs. Click the surrounding images to enlarge these examples.
New Product : Airdry Polymer clay10 September, 2009I find Kato and basic polymer clay really hard to sell in the store as there is a lot of technical information that is required for the novice to start, so I was just thrilled when they sent me the information for an air dry polymer clay.
Smooch Accent Inks25 August, 2009Ever had a charm bead or component that didn’t quite match the colour of the beads you are using in a project? Well, this is the product for you!Smooch accent inks can be used on glass, ceramic, metal, paper, cardboard, acrylic and more…
One of our new components are these funky oval brass connectors with flower accents, and so I have used the smooch accents in molasses and in snickerdoodle to highlight and accent them. Combined with Swarovski crystals in crystal copper and Czech glass pearls in coffee and cream and chocolate they just look fab!!
Smooch accent inks are available in 8 colours in 9ml and the bottles come with an applicator tip similar to a nail polish bottle. $6.95 each. ![]() |
