I find Kato and basic polymer clay really hard to sell in the store as there is a lot of technical information that is required for the novice to start, so I was just thrilled when they sent me the information for an air dry polymer clay.
The clay takes 24hrs to dry (depending on how thick your creations are) and comes in really exciting multi-packs. So you can buy a packet with enough colours to create many projects and not break the budget. Really you can do everything the other kinds can do including rolling, stretching, shaping and sculpture. You just need to make sure that when storing you store it in an airtight container!

The measuring ruler has a chart with all the possible colour combintations and how much you need to mix the different combinations.

As a quick example I made this flower rose out of the white clay, which was created with the petals made singularly and then sculpted together. I have adhered it to one of our sterling silver ring bases with round base.
