Hot in the shop right now are the entire vintage range and large, chunky beads to make statement piece jewellery. It seems our customers are looking to identify themselves with articles of jewellery that are different and unique and make them look and feel like they are wearing one of a kind pieces.
With this in mind, our newest range that I have purchased for our store are Rhinestone Components, and although they are acrylic we have put some in our cabinet in our shop and they sure do know how to sparkle.
The Rhinestone Components range come in a range of pre-made pendants that have various stones fixed together, and are great large statement pieces while still being reasonably priced. They all are set in a nickel base (gold is unfortunately unavailable), but the nickel makes the base look virtually invisible leaving the crystals to just sparkle the way through. Each pendant has two jump rings on the back, where you can either thread through a neck-wire for an easy 5 minute look or attach some chain or beading.
The matching Rhinestone Packs range come in the same tonings, in packs of large stones, medium stones and small stones. Each pack is weighed at 30gms per pack and you will get a random assortment. They feature a base with two holes going through the back, similar to what we have had with slider and strand connectors in the past. I also like the element of the holes being quite large as it means that customers will be able to thread quite a few strands of their wire through with ease. Some of the Swarovski small stones just don’t have the hole size which makes the creation of pieces a bit choosy at times.
So, what you can make with them? You can do bracelets, earrings, rings, necklaces, stitch them onto clothes, glue them onto paper, and much more. If you find other uses for them, please comment below!
We also have a selecton of square enhancers for the Rhinestone range. They are designed to be a base so that you can suspend and wirewrap the rhinestones from the middle to give them some enhancement. They also have small clear crystals around the edges to just give more of that added glitz everyone is wanting a piece of.
